Friendly, attentive staff made our visit a pleasurable one. The great food put Metro over the top. The burgers are great. The sides were fresh and hot. Salads were gourmet. There was no question why the Metro is always a full house.
In town for work and one of my coworkers suggested checking this place out. I ordered the Chicken and Bow tie Soup as my side for the sand-which. It was seasoned really well and hit the spot on a chilly day. For the Sandwich I ordered the blackened mahi sandwich, it was really good! It was served on ciabatta bread which is a great choice. The mahi was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. It was a little hotter spice wise than what I was expecting but still very good! Check this place out if you're in the area!
Yelp comes through again. In town for a concert and needed a pre-concert dinner. This place fit the bill perfectly! Great food good service and is obviously a local favorite because we had to wait 20 minutes on a Saturday at 6 PM.
tSecond time here and had another amazing meal. Started with the soup, which I highly recommend. I will definitely be back!
I stopped in after campaigning in the Timbers Edge neighborhood. The decor is very nice. The server was attentive. Also, the restroom is very clean, which is important and I usually don't comment about it. They have my favorites on the menu such as a variety of salads, Cheese Curds and Fish Tacos!
Had my food delivered last night via DoorDash. The food was hot and tasted fresh so that was a plus. I ordered twisted turkey sandwich and a side of cream soup. The sandwich was a little underwhelming for me, especially with all the toppings/ingredients it came with. The soup turned out to be cream of broccoli soup, which I normally wouldn't order but to my surprise it was tasty. Would definitely go here again but try something different.
My hubby and I went here for dinner. The service was great and they put on the Bulls game for him so he was a happy camper. I had the chicken which was marinated and garlic green beans. My hubby had the Country style rigatoni pasta which had a good flavor and goat cheese complimented the pasta sauce nicely. Could of used a touch of fresh chopped basil on top. The ribbon chips were delicious, fresh thinly sliced and just the right about of crunch. I wouldn't order the breasted potatoes again, they needed a gravy or sauce. The cheesecake was really good, seemed freshly made and not like a frozen desert you get at most places. Overall great experience and we will come back!
